THE LAVENDER EFFECT® was the recipient of a generous Bears LA community grant in 2014. Bears LA is a 501(c)3 public charity created in 1993 to provide a social outlet for the Bear community in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. They sponsor and organize a variety of social events, Mr. SoCal Bear and Mr. LA Leather Bear.
