THE LAVENDER EFFECT® Oral History Project documents stories of 8-Southern Californian Gender Fluid / Non-Binary Pioneers. These in-depth interviews explore the emerging new chapter of the LGBTQ+ Movement. “This dynamic history in the making is being documented to celebrate diversity, raise consciousness, and educate the public.”– Andy Sacher, Project Director. The OHP captures video testimonies from members of the LGBTQ+ community and supportive allies who were/are integral participants or witnesses to a historic event or movement. These recordings are being produced at the highest standards possible utilizing USC’s Shoah Foundation guidelines. Interview highlights (6-8 minutes each) can be viewed below.
